Field Trip to the Royal Ontario Museum

Dear Parents and Students,

This will serve as a reminder that our class will be taking a trip to The Royal Ontario Museum on Wednesday, March 24th to see the new bat cave exhibit as a part of our unit in Science on animal habitats. Please ensure that permission forms are signed and returned with admission money no later than this coming Friday. I am looking for two parent volunteers who would like to attend this excursion. If you are interested please respond to me as soon as possible. Volunteers will be selected on a first come, first served basis. This should be a fun and educational experience for your children.

Students, please set aside some time to visit the following two websites: Bats4Kids and National Geographic Kids. They contain a lot of useful information about bats that is not only informative but a helpful addition to what we have been discussing in class. Please jot down a few new insights that you discover as you explore these two sites and please be prepared to share with the rest of the class. Thank you.
